Yeah, since it’s my first and I don’t want to buy another anytime soon, I wanted the best bang for my buck.
If it’s in good condition and has a warranty, it’s definitely worth it. That’s an awesome price for those specs and that model. Don’t expect desktop-level power, though. Battery life might suck, and an RTX 4070 desktop is equivalent to its performance. (Referring to mobile RTX 4090 here.)

I’m totally new to the gaming laptop/PC world, so it’ll be a learning curve, maybe even frustrating.
It’s a wild ride, trust me. Laptops get hot, fans scream at you, software has quirks… but it’s memorable.
All in all? Memorable af. I can’t even describe my first gaming laptop; it was a piece of junk, but I loved it. Despite all its quirks, it’s still amazing how much performance you get from such a compact machine. But yeah, desktops are always more comfortable.
If it’s used, IDK… Sometimes these laptops overheat so much that the 4090 doesn’t even perform like a 4070, and there’s not much you can do. But if it’s new, that’s an amazing deal.
