$1850, how did I do for my first ever gaming laptop?

Yeah, since it’s my first and I don’t want to buy another anytime soon, I wanted the best bang for my buck.

If it’s in good condition and has a warranty, it’s definitely worth it. That’s an awesome price for those specs and that model. Don’t expect desktop-level power, though. Battery life might suck, and an RTX 4070 desktop is equivalent to its performance. (Referring to mobile RTX 4090 here.)

@Hollis
I’m totally new to the gaming laptop/PC world, so it’ll be a learning curve, maybe even frustrating.

It’s a wild ride, trust me. Laptops get hot, fans scream at you, software has quirks… but it’s memorable.

All in all? Memorable af. I can’t even describe my first gaming laptop; it was a piece of junk, but I loved it. Despite all its quirks, it’s still amazing how much performance you get from such a compact machine. But yeah, desktops are always more comfortable.

@Hollis
lol I see no lies.

They give you a three-ton piece of plastic to lug around, but it’s worth it. Hope you have a blast with it!

How the heck did you get it for $1850?? I need a link!

Found an online used seller in my state, so I backdoored a deal for convenience on both sides.

Pretty good, I’d say.

Not too bad if this is used…

Yes.

If it’s used, IDK… Sometimes these laptops overheat so much that the 4090 doesn’t even perform like a 4070, and there’s not much you can do. But if it’s new, that’s an amazing deal.

Used.

@Will
Hmm. Best of luck to you, then. Hope it performs like brand new!

Bro got a 4090 for his first-ever gaming laptop :sob::pray:
