I honestly do not think so. Been looking at Lenovo prices for the past 14 days. They have fluctuated very little ( as opposed to other makers). maybe Black Friday there will be some huge deals ( I assume this is a US site, and you guys actually get Black Friday prices. Here in EU its kind of a joke really). Its your decision to make mate.

B&H usually puts this laptop on sale and to be honest this is the lowest price I’ve seen for a Lenovo RTX 4080 laptop brand new. Be aware of B&H’s return policy though. If you break the box seal and something was wrong with the laptop and you tried to return it they may not accept your return.

I got this laptop last year on black friday, it’s price went down to $1.850. It’s been a rock solid laptop, I put a 4 TB NVMe in it, and I love this thing. Runs great, looks great, performance is great. Good build quality not scared of anything getting wrecked on it, but I am careful when traveling with it. I also purchased the 3 year legion ultimate care with ADP for $180 they had a promo going for it, happy with everything, never needed warranty.

You might see deals for refurbished units with 4080s - don’t know how you feel about those but it would probably knock at least $250-300 off the price if not more. Just research who you are buying it refurbished from first some are better than others.
Lenovo as a general rule is considered pretty reliable and well made so you are least getting a good product if you decide to move ahead with a brand new i7.

I’m also planning to get this one. Confused to buy it right now or wait another week because few weeks back the price was 2099 and not it’s 1999. The price is going down. And last month or so it was on sale around 1800 at microcenter. I guess it might go down to that price if we wait.
