@Zane
I limit my CPU to 70W to avoid throttling, but I think the GPU is maxed out. The new 155W cap seems more realistic.

The sticker price on my rig is up to $8k in AUD already… and that’s for the cheap 4090 version.

8k? Is this thing faster than a 220 mph car?

How many kidneys do you need to buy one?

More than two, for sure!

That Blade looks really thin. It seems like Razer is going back to their sleek designs.

Razer Blades don’t need to be thinner. They already thermal throttle like any other gaming laptop. If they’ve gone thinner, I hope it’s because the TDP of the components is lower and not just for looks.

@Skyler
AMD CPUs can run on lower wattage than Intel, so it might only need to cool a 150W thermal load instead of 175+.

This would be amazing. My 14900HX/4080 Lenovo gets insanely hot and can’t handle sustained loads. Lower TDP sounds like a dream.

@Skyler
Reason number 472 why I don’t buy Intel laptops.

@Skyler
You can undervolt and limit the CPU to 60W. It performs similarly while staying cooler.

@Skyler
They mentioned 155W as the max, which is 20W lower than last gen.

Excited to see it in action!

Can’t wait for the thermal throttling to start!

I don’t get why the laptop market is slow to adopt X3D tech. This needs to change.

AMD’s manufacturing couldn’t keep up with demand, and brands don’t want to wait for delayed chips. Intel delivers on time, and that’s what counts.

@Lyric
X3D on high-end laptops would be amazing. My desktop has a 7800X3D, and it’s both efficient and powerful. Manufacturers need to move away from Intel’s power-hungry CPUs.
