Hey man, it’s looking so cool!! I know it’s not relevant but how did you hide desktop icons?

Right-click on the empty screen → view → uncheck show desktop icons.

Thanks, dude!
You don’t need a 4060 for Minecraft.
Welcome to r/ZephyrusG14, my friend!
Congrats. Since you play a bit of Minecraft, you should probably use the most demanding shaders out there.
Damn, I’m jealous. My school has Acer Spin laptops with a Pentium and integrated GPU.
I have the same laptop but the 32GB 4070 model. I also use it for my college major. If you need tips about it, check out the G14 subreddit. They know everything you need to know, and more.
It should have been…! Wait, I have a G14 too, welcome to the gang!
My dream laptop, I’m happy for you, homie.
If you rarely play games on it, it’s a great choice. If you do, then it’s a poor choice as the Zephyrus series limits the power it gives to the GPU.

But it’s still a 90W 4060. A full-powered 140W 4060 stays between 95-105W anyway, so you don’t lose much performance.
@Kai
It’s not going to give you 90W; it’s going to give you 80W at max. At least that’s what I’ve seen in all the testing videos, and personally, it underperformed anywhere from 20% to 30%. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good gaming laptop but not a great gaming laptop. However, it’s a great overall use case laptop on the go because of its battery performance.
@Jae
Oh, I didn’t know that. Thanks for the info. And agreed on your second point.

The battery life is crazy long. It lasts longer than my Lenovo Legion I had back in community college. Now I’m in my final years of university, and this new laptop experience is so much better. I don’t play video games besides Minecraft, and it runs quite well!
@Valen
BTW, here’s a good tip if you want to use this laptop for like 5-6 years straight without any battery issues: cap your total charging capacity to 80%. Yes, you will lose 20% of the total battery life, but it will last way longer than if it’s at 100%.
@Jae
Thank you for the tip, I’ll keep that in mind.
