Never owned Gigabyte before though.
Yes, worth it, the AORUS is decent. Very important to know is that it has a 90-day WARRANTY.

Wait what? 90-day warranty??!
That hardware at that price is a steal deal, and AORUS is decent so definitely go for it.
Yeah. Worth it.
I would cop that for sure. Good specs for the price.
I did get one. Will be delivered next week only though, so I will keep my eyes open for a 4080 deal. As of this time, it is sold out.
Is this better than the TUF 15 with the i7 4070 that Best Buy had for the same price?

I was considering that one, but jumped on this AORUS due to a much better screen resolution and a slightly better processor.
Such an amazing deal is scaring me lol.
I have the same laptop, but I bought it brand new from Best Buy last year. 100% worth it. You can add a 2nd SSD and upgrade both RAM sticks. Great build quality as well.

I don’t see anything on the photo that says it’s a used laptop.
@Corey
Agreed, I’m just providing details so OP doesn’t think my experience is from Woot. In other words, “I bought the same laptop upon release last year somewhere else, and it’s been awesome.”
Speakers are subpar, and the special character keys aren’t backlit, but this computer is well worth more than $1K.
That’s an absolute steal for those specs. The 13980HX and RTX 4070 combo is killer for gaming and productivity, easily worth $400-500 more than this price point. Gigabyte’s build quality is solid too. I’d grab it while you can.
Damn, can’t find this deal. Sad.
