I recently purchased a used XMG Neo 15 M22 for $975 as a gift for my girlfriend. It’s equipped with a Ryzen 6900HX, RTX 3080 Ti, 64 GB DDR5, ample SSD storage, and an external liquid cooling system. Although the RTX 50 series is about to be announced, my budget led me to choose this model over others with an RTX 4070. The laptop still had its factory protective films and comes with a warranty valid for over a year.
That sounds like a great deal considering the RAM and VRAM it offers. Its performance should definitely hold up well.

Thanks
The 3080 Ti with 16GB VRAM is still powerful for gaming at 1080p and can handle 1440p with DLSS. It’s overkill for laptop screen resolutions, so you’re set unless you’re aiming for 4K.
You’ve snagged a great deal! Enjoy the laptop and take good care of it.
It’s definitely a good purchase.
It’s a great deal. Although it lacks DLSS 3, it remains one of the top GPU options for laptops. Considering the price, it’s a solid buy.
For that price, it’s a fantastic deal. She’s going to love it.
I just got a 3080 laptop myself. It’s amazing, though I wish the 70 series cards had more VRAM.
No worries about DLSS 3. There are mods available that can add frame generation to games supporting DLSS 3, effectively doubling your frame rate, making the 3080 Ti 4K-capable even with ray tracing.
That’s a steal, especially with the liquid-cooled version. The next-gen GPUs might be better, but at this price, the 3080 Ti is nearly unbeatable.
Incredible deal! Can you share the link? I can’t believe you found a 3080 Ti with those specs at that price.
Does it require the external liquid cooling to operate optimally? Some high-performance laptops need it under heavy load.

So far, no issues with throttling. The liquid cooling should help keep it quieter, though.
It’s definitely capable of handling current games. If you’re into frame generation, just use Lossless Scaling.
What an amazing gift!
It’s 2025 and you managed to get such specs for under $1k? That’s impressive!
You made a great choice. No need to chase the latest GPUs unless you really need to. The 3080 Ti will serve well for years.
