I’d say go for it. I have that exact same laptop with a 4060 and it’s very durable

You didn’t experience any issues with it? , i was thinking about buying an asus tuf a16 with a rayzen 9 and a rx 7600s however 240 hz display coasting 1000£, but then changed my mind to the Acer neo 16 because of the better gpu so want to know your experience with gaming heavy demanding games if possible
@Lane
I haven’t tested it with any demanding games despite daily driving it for 2 weeks. However, it’s significantly louder than other laptops(even in turbo mode). If you can get past the noisy fans then I guarantee it can give you 100+ fps in demanding games
The RTX 4070 laptop is like 10-15% stronger than the RTX 4060 laptop.

Yeap they’re both 4070 but the difference is the cpu is i7 14 in the 1400£ one and a higher refresh rate display so i wonder if there’s a worthy difference between the i7 13 gen one and the i7 14 gen one also the 165 hz display and 240 hz display
@Lane
I believe the upgrade would be worth it imo.
I’d say go for the newer one because the new one has better cooling and slightly better build & looks. But at the end it comes to what you prefer. What reviews of both on youtube and decide if you really need that tiny bit extra performance and cooling boost.
I’d say that for another £200, if you’re primarily using this laptop for gaming I’d actually go the cheaper one.

Well I’ll be using it as an all rounder for gaming multimedia studying etc so yeah a tiny bit of extra performance won’t be worth it i guess
I bought the Helios Predator Neo 16 (as shown in picture 1) from Curry’s and returned it within two weeks due to a severe screen bleed issue
