I’m considering buying this gaming laptop and would love to get your opinions on whether it’s a good deal or not. Here’s what it looks like:
Overkill in all the wrong places. I feel the GPU is underpowered too.
No, it’s a terrible deal. Paying $1900 for a 4060? All that RAM and storage is pushing this to over $2k, which is unnecessary. In reality, 32GB and 1-2TB is plenty.

Absolutely agree. I have a 32GB RAM with 2TB storage and 4060 RTX gaming laptop that I bought for $1.3K.

The specs themselves could be worth $2k, but if I were you, I’d just buy a base model then upgrade the SSD and RAM myself for better pricing, unless they’re soldered. If you’re not up for the hassle, this might still be too pricey.
@Reagan
Yes, the specs might be worth $2k, but it’s overkill. You could get a $1k machine with a 4070 which would perform better, especially just for gaming.
RTX 4060 for around $2k? In my opinion, that’s not worth it.
If you buy this, I’ll come find you and try to sell you overpriced stuff because you clearly don’t mind paying too much!

Cool, bring it on!
I got a faster i9 with a 4080 for $1900 last week. 1TB storage and 32GB RAM, and upgrading the SSD and RAM was super cheap. Definitely not a good deal. You want more GPU for that price.
Absolutely not!! 64GB RAM and 4TB SSD is way too much unless it’s for a workstation. Also, the CPU is overkill compared to the GPU. You could get a 4070 or 4080 with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD for around the same price.
You can get a 4070 or 4080 easily for that price.

Yeah, plus do you really need that much space? You could also cut down on the RAM and settle for a 12th gen CPU which is good enough for most tasks, unless you’re planning on using this as a workstation.
Heck no. Too much RAM and too much storage. You can get more for less.
Are these troll posts at this point?
I’ve got that laptop’s RTX 3050 variant for approximately $600 with the Acer Wireless controller.
$1,200 is the max you should pay for a laptop with a 4060.

Got it, looking into it now. Thanks!
The only place you should overkill the specs is in the GPU…
