Was about to buy an Alienware, but I found this Lenovo deal. Is it a good one?

I don’t have much experience with Lenovo gaming laptops, I’ve only used their business models before. I was negotiating for an Alienware but got worried about the heat problems. The ad said it was brand new in the box, and the price started going up, so I grabbed it. Do you think it was a good decision?

Lmao, I almost went for it. I swore off Alienware after my first one ruined itself in college, but $1400 for a 4080 laptop seemed like a great deal.

Sounds like a good plan. I’m hoping Lenovo drops some big discounts later this month, but this deal seems solid if everything checks out.

It’s a good deal, but the 7945hx can get pretty hot, so make sure you have proper cooling.

Yeah, cooling is a top priority for me. I’m actually refunding a 4070 ROG G16 with the same CPU because of bad performance. The CPU definitely runs hot.
