I’m searching for a 4080 laptop in the US, ideally around $1500, but I haven’t found any decent deals since November 1. The only one I came across was a refurbished Acer Helios for $1350. I’m curious, where are the good 4080 deals hiding?

@Nile
If there isn’t anything this Friday, don’t forget about Cyber Monday.

I honestly went back to Microcenter’s website and looked for a similar deal for OP, but the best deal I found was a Lenovo Legion 4080 for $2k.
@Rowan
I scooped that up the other day. Fantastic experience so far.
@Nile
I got an excellent condition 4080 Helios for $1655 but $1400 after the extra discount Acer gave. The same deal is now $1600 with the discount.
@Nile
I’d say you probably need to lower your expectations on a realistically available sale price of $1700 USD pre-tax. Anything less will likely be a stock clearance or refurbished deal that will quickly sell out. If you keep waiting, tariffs might start affecting the prices too…
@Yan
I haven’t seen anything under $2k with 32GB RAM. Where are you seeing this?
@Yan
I beg to differ. The RTX 5000 series are coming soon, which is a great opportunity for manufacturers to clear their stocks.

Well hey, power to you, hope it works out. I’ve only seen $1700 for clearing out 2023 stock, so I’m just sharing a historical price.
@Yan
Thanks. I saw a 4080 Lenovo Legion Pro for $1490 last year with some extra discounts. I hope it happens again.

Just so you know, you needed to be a student for that discount, which wasn’t available when the deal restocked. The pre-rebate price was still around $1800-1900, though you might get lucky with a $1700 price.

4080 is a popular model, so manufacturers aren’t too concerned about stock. Also, many people are buying electronics now due to potential tariffs.

They’ll probably only worry about stock when the RTX 50 series laptops are real, not just speculated.
@Nile
Legion Pro 7 for $1999 at B&H. It’s got a 2560x1600 240 Hz Display, 14th Gen Intel Core i9, RTX 4080, 32GB RAM & 1TB SSD.

I bought from that link, it works great. I upgraded the SSD and RAM, though.
@Nile
Ebay is a good place too. That’s where I got mine, $1500 before tax.
Only low and low-mid range laptops seem to be on sale

All I see are deals for 4060s and 4070s
