Which LOQ? Considerations and trade-offs for each option

I found three LOQs: one with 4050, 165Hz, 1TB, and 16GB RAM.

THE OTHER ONE: 144Hz, 512GB, 4060, 16GB RAM.

Which one?

Would 512GB suffice for Fortnite, CS2 (soon), NFS MW 2012 (since I want to play it and don’t care), Hello Neighbor and mods, and some Android emulation on Bluestacks, as well as installing Adobe and Davinci Resolve and creating thumbnails and videos? And sacrifice 165Hz, or would 144 from 165 be trivial in terms of decrease?

Will I need 1TB and forgo 4050 performance?

I can professionally improve my system for gaming with gains of (kid you not 1500% fps and perf on the best scenario, I’m not sure how I did that specifically but gains from poor 15-25 fps to near stable 60fps in another instance on another laptop, U series CPU BTW on CPU intensive game, Fortnite. No GPU, avg HP laptop)

But will optimization make 4050 bearable for usage, given I want to also use Ray tracing and on DLSS also?

Or because I play Fortnite and CS2 soon, CPU intensive means gpu won’t make the head over performance rather the cpu would and I’m just looping myself rather than see the CPU side as a factor in this?)

Thx!

Storage is easily scalable, but GPU… not so much; given a 20% performance improvement and an additional 2GB of vRAM, I’d go with the 4060 LOQ.

512GB should be sufficient for the items you specified; none of these games are particularly enormous; plus the LOQ has two NVMe slots, so you can simply add another NVMe later on when and if you require further storage.

Display-wise, 144HZ and 165HZ are essentially the same; I doubt you’ll notice the difference; I barely feel the jump from 120Hz to 240Hz lol (but the jump from 60Hz to 120Hz is tremendous).

Also, are the CPUs the same? What about the display color range?

Note that the FHD 144 Hz screen tends to have quite slow response rate times relative to the QHD 165 Hz screen.

i5-13450HX For the 165 Hz one and there is (theretical but idk) 100% srgb

And the other one

No info on color gamut but

Core i5 12450H Processor GeForce RTX 4060 Graphics card 15.6 Inch Full HD 144Hz Screen 16GB RAM 512GB SSD

Thx for helping out, I do really think like ppl on yt are saying the difference in HZ is negligible. And you took 100% of your brain to figure out the fulfilment of my SSD using the games I use and apps I shall install (respect you for that, but I think as well I won’t fill the entire disk or go to critical fill up either, just I have always been wary of my storage use, be it 256GB or any other amount on a phone or a pc anywhere I’ve been. And I use a debloated config on windows anyway

I mean I’m not competitive but I do care for input lag and will notice beyond 40 ping in Fortnite but nod hardcore on it, just viable to be a better lag free l player on, but I can optimize the monitor latency and get better latency mon, so 144HZ GOOD 4 Me?
