I got an Asus TUF Gaming A17 laptop last year. I’ve only installed Sims 4 and now Infinity Nikki, but now it keeps showing a warning saying “Device Limits Exceeded.” This doesn’t make sense because it worked fine before. I’ve deleted Sims and a bunch of downloads, so storage space shouldn’t be an issue. My graphics card is updated, but I’m not really good with laptops or IT, so I need help. The warning says the current settings are too demanding. To prevent lag and overheating, it recommends adjusting the graphics. They’re all set to low now, but it’s not fun to play like that when I know my laptop can do better.
You shouldn’t give your laptop drugs!

Try going into your laptop’s NVIDIA Control Panel and increase the cache size limit to 100GB, then restart your PC. It should run any game.
You must be doing something wrong, but you didn’t post your laptop specs. All I can say is your laptop is underpowered. When asking for help, include your laptop specs and the game title. The A17 has a lot of hardware setups.

Another comment says it has a 3050 or 3060.

If you have a 3050, it’s easy to overload it. This could be due to the game’s resolution. Series 50 handles up to 1080p and max 1440p. Don’t expect too much. I’m seeing Infinity Nikki needs a minimum of 16GB RAM, so you might need to check that. VRAM could be an issue if you’re playing above 1080p. I’ve heard Infinity Nikki isn’t well-optimized, so it could be a bug or you’re asking too much from your card.

Since you don’t know, I looked up your laptop. It comes with either an RTX 3060 or 3070. Just commenting for those trying to help.
@Olen
Older GPUs, like the RTX 3060.
A single tear dropped down my cheek.
Yeah, we’re almost at the 5000 series; it feels like the GTX 1060 back when I bought it.
