Now gaming from my couch is amazing. Like the title states, I worked a lot of overtime weekend shifts save up for my new Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 9 16" WQXGA i9 32GB RAM 1TB RTX4070.
This photo from my phone doesn’t do it justice, but the screen colours are brilliant.
I also got a cooling pad so I don’t burn a hole through my lap.
Game I’m playing is Far Cry 6.

Id also recommend a nice bedside table like from a hospital. I found one that had a nice swivel end that could angle the laptop to a more comfortable position while the mouse area stayed flat. Also had a nice “pencil tray” lip to help keep the laptop from sliding down. And if the bed/couch is tall enough off the ground, it will slide nicely up to you for maximum comfort. Probably find one off amazon or a local medical suply shop that sells crutches and wheelchairs.
