Better screen. You can always upgrade your RAM.

Is the storage upgradable?

The RAM on the second slide is soldered, I’m pretty sure.

No, only LPDDR5 RAM is soldered. DDR5 SODIMM isn’t.
@Shane
Ah, sorry, you’re right.

For future reference, SODIMM literally means removable. It’s the form factor of the removable stick of RAM. Lenovo categorizes RAM as either soldered (explicitly named) or SO-DIMM.
Better screen always!
Definitely screen.

GPU over CPU!? Could you elaborate as to why? I’d like to know your approach.

Usually, laptop GPUs are much weaker than their desktop counterparts, while CPUs can still deliver a lot of performance with limited TDP. Even an i5/i7 CPU is fine for most GPUs, just not for heavy multitasking.
@Dev
Ah, I see.

I do gaming and learning Unreal Engine. For example, I see a bigger benefit in going from a 4060 to a 4070 over an R7 7435HS to Ryzen 7 88XXHS.
@Pierce
Fair.
Same price?

Yep. Same price!
Update: wasn’t able to snag the better screen in time, but got probably the last one with more RAM at an even lower price. $842 USD! Had been wanting a Legion Slim 7 or 7i for the added portability, but this was too good of a deal to pass up. Fingers crossed Lenovo doesn’t cancel my order.
@Jessie
That’s a steal, man. I did the build option and paid $400 more than you. Granted, I got the RAM and screen upgrade, but I like your price way more for $90 worth of upgrades.
