Should I pull the trigger or wait for Black Friday?

Some stores do Black Friday deals all month long. Check tomorrow in case they drop prices early.

Depends on your needs. I’d wait for a deal if possible. I recently got an MSI Vector 17" with a Core i9 13980HX and a 12GB 4080 for nearly the same price. I upgraded the RAM and storage, so if you’re into gaming, it’s probably better to go for a desktop and a cheaper laptop for other tasks. But if it’s not for gaming, it’s solid.

I’d hold out for a Legion 7 with a 4080 under $1900.

Why the slim version? Unless you’re sold on this model, I’d wait for Black Friday.

Got mine at Micro Center for $1020 including tax.

Did you get the 7435HS variant? That one has lower clock speeds and lacks an iGPU, so battery life isn’t great. I ended up getting the 8845HS for $1,152, which I think was a good deal.

I got the pro model at the same price. I’d suggest waiting.

Picked up the same model for $1350 CAD (about $1000 USD) at 40% off last month.

Just bought an HP Victus 16 from Best Buy with the same processor and GPU for $899. Upgraded the storage and RAM, totaling around $1075. It was $500 off last week—maybe the same deal will pop up during Black Friday.

Honestly, no idea. But hey, MacBooks are solid!

Not exactly a gaming machine.

@Sam
True, not for gaming! Just kidding around. Didn’t expect so many downvotes!
