Will this laptop cooler work for my TUF Dash F15?

I’m considering a laptop cooler with adjustable RPM settings of 1,900, 2,300, and 2,600. My TUF Dash F15 from 2021 is experiencing throttling at temperatures around 88°C, and I’m wondering if this cooler could help. The laptop vents are at the back, and it draws air from the bottom.

It’s better to choose a laptop cooler that includes a foam seal around the edge. This design ensures that the cooler’s airflow is directed straight into your laptop’s intake vents, which can significantly improve cooling efficiency.

Thanks for the advice! Why does the foam seal make such a difference?

The foam seal helps to channel all the air pushed by the cooler directly into your laptop, rather than letting it escape around the sides. This maximizes the cooling effect on your laptop’s internal components and also helps dampen noise from the cooler’s fans.

Basically, the foam seal ensures more efficient airflow into your laptop, which helps reduce temperatures significantly.

Make sure to purchase the genuine llano cooler from their official website to avoid counterfeits. The official versions often include the beneficial foam seal.

I’m using the llano V12 cooler for my laptop, and it’s been great. You might also want to look at their V10 model if your laptop is smaller.

Curious about how you all are experiencing such high temps. Even with heavy use, my MSI Katana has only reached 68°C.

Make sure the cooler’s RPM is at least as high as your laptop’s fan RPM to ensure effective cooling.

Does it need to match exactly, or is lower RPM also fine?

It’s crucial to have a higher RPM for effective cooling. Lower RPM models might not provide sufficient airflow to make a difference.

@Jem
Thanks for the clarification. I’ll look for models with higher RPMs.
