Which fan speed do you use for gaming on that cooler?
Still setting up my games, so it’s just on a low setting while downloading.

Consider moving the power supply to another spot. It’ll free up more space and reduce heat buildup.

Thanks for the advice!
What specs are you running on that beast?

It’s packed! 32 GB RAM, RTX 4080, and 12 GB VRAM.
As long as your setup has good air circulation and it’s on a hard surface, it should be fine. Just keep it off soft surfaces like carpets or pillows.
All looks good as long as you don’t block the exhausts with that blanket.

I’ll make sure of that, thanks!
Here are some safety tips: Keep the power brick away from flammable materials, plan a fire escape route, and consider a surge protector if you experience frequent power cuts. Other than that, your setup is pretty solid.
@Kade
If there’s a fire, I’m right by the window—either the laptop or I’m going out!
You should raise the cooling pad a bit to ensure proper airflow.

The cooling pad has legs, right?

Yes, it does. I prefer it flat but will adjust if needed for the laptop’s health.
@Gentry
It’s better for the airflow if you do.

Understood, I’ll set up the legs. Thanks!
Your setup is good as long as nothing blocks the cooling pad’s sides. Just watch out for dust from the blanket.

Will do, thanks for pointing that out.
For the best results, place your laptop in a fridge connected to an external monitor. Just kidding—enjoy your setup!

I might just try that for the cooling boost!
