If Trump’s tariffs pass, it’ll be 60% on stuff made in China. A RTX 4080 laptop, now around $2,000 USD, could cost $3,200 with the tariff. New RTX 50X0 series will also cost more.

The tariff will be 25% for Mexico and Canada, and 10% elsewhere. If China goes to war with Taiwan, the tariff could jump to 60%. Manufacturers might try to split the tariff costs by moving production to Vietnam, India, etc.
